Photonics meets Robotics: AI Success Stories

Best practice for business at its best.

The ‘Photonics meets Robotics: AI Success Stories’ special show held across two trade fairs focusses on the synergies between automatica and Laser World of Photonics—and shows how their two worlds perfectly complement each other in real-world application scenarios. The common denominator: AI. Experience application examples from industry and research that are relevant to your production, too. In addition to exciting exhibits and live demos, you will also benefit from in-depth technical presentations, expert panels, and exchange with both providers and users on site.

Winning team: Get inspired by ‘Photonics meets Robotics: AI Success Stories’ in Hall A3.433 and learn how to use state-of-the-art AI-based methods to link photonics and automation. In this context, curated specialist presentations will be held in 15 hosted slots distributed across all trade fair days—they will give you insights into best practices from both the manufacturing sector and application-oriented research.

Range of topics and exhibits

The special show demonstrates how the vision of self-learning production machinery and fully automated first-time-right (FTR) production is taking shape as artificial intelligence combines the most powerful aspects of photonics and robotics. AI-based product design minimizes the time to market, state-of-the-art machine learning methodology increases production quality while ensuring complete control of processes, and data-based learning systems recognize and rectify deviations in the live process.
