On the one hand there is an ongoing pandemic with massive contact and travel restrictions along with the associated economic damage. On the other hand there is a community requiring orientation, exchange, inspiration and business. With automatica sprint we have developed a new event format that creates impulses for an industry that does not want to and cannot wait two more years for the next automatica.
On June 22–24, 2021 the time will come: With the new automatica sprint trade fair format, the community is taking a fresh start after a long Covid break. What we're particularly excited about: The positive response and your registrations. The industry leaders listed below have already registered – we would be happy to have you, too.
Robotics: ABB, DENSO, Epson, FANUC, KUKA, Liebherr Verzahntechnik,
Assembly/handling technology: Bosch Rexroth, Festo, Hahn Automation, Manz, Mikron Automation, Schaeffler, SCHUNK, SIM Automation, teamtechnik Maschinen und Anlagen
Machine vision: Basler, IDS, MVTec, VMT, Hiwin, Cenit
And: Cenit, Hiwin
„The community has a tremendous need for orientation, exchange, inspiration, innovation and business as usual. That's why the prospect of automatica sprint gives us a feeling of starting afresh. And that feels good after a long time of standstill. We at KUKA want to take advantage of this opportunity – the attractive and flexible event format has convinced us. We all hope that the many measures taken will keep the pandemic under control to the extent that we can hold automatica sprint successfully and safely.“
Wilfried Eberhardt, Chief Marketing Officer of KUKA AG, Chairman VDMA Robotics + Automation
The leading international exhibition for smart automation and robotics demonstrates how you can benefit from digitalizing your production processes. automatica is the only event in the world that brings together all emerging key technologies in one place, thus promoting mutually beneficial and interdisciplinary exchange.
automatica was originally scheduled to take place in June 2020. Due to the worldwide spread of Covid-19, exhibitors were informed in March last year about the postponement to December 2020. Many exhibitors had already decided to participate in automatica by March.
You can view the status of registered exhibitors as of March 2020 here. Please take into account that many registrations would still have been received after that date:
In September 2020, Messe München informed its exhibitors and visitors about the final cancellation of automatica 2020.
