The Service Robot City exhibition highlight
automatica 2023 has come to a successful close. Information on exhibitor registration for automatica 2025 will be available on our website in due time.
Record-breaking growth rates and an ever-expanding scope of applications indicate that service robots are on their way to becoming omnipresent. This is more than enough reason to dedicate even more space to this topic with great public appeal. There will be a prominently located exhibition area in Hall A4 and a newly designed joint pavilion right next to it – welcome to Service Robot City. The protagonists? Your service robots from common areas of application such as Health, Hospitality, Retail, Work, and Inspection & Monitoring. Participation? Easy and promising – thanks to attractive package offers, easy registration and significant media attention. Secure your space on the service robotics stage now!
The workforce potential in industrialized countries around the world is shrinking dramatically. In Germany alone, it will decline by 4 – 6 million over the next twelve years. The service sector will be hit particularly hard. This area is still poorly automated and urgently needs innovative solutions in the coming years if it is to continue to function properly. And while it is a mere inconvenience when the Italian restaurant next door has to close due to lack of staff, it is existentially threatening when there are not enough specialists to staff hospitals or laboratories.
The good news is that service robots have learned to walk in recent years – and they are now ready for deployment. Prototypes have become marketable products; research has developed into a steadily growing industry. Service robotics is also boosted by conventional industrial robotics: with collaborative robots, no-code programming, all the way to robots capable of seeing and feeling.
Therefore, the prospects are quite encouraging: It has never been so easy to operate and program robots – even for people without strong technical knowledge. And that's exactly what our new automatica showcase is all about: Service Robot City. The joint pavilion is implemented in cooperation with VDMA R+A and supported by Fraunhofer IPA. It is structured according to the relevant fields of application and offers opportunities for exciting hands-on experiences that form a basis for further technical discussions and concrete investment decisions. All suppliers of professional service robotics. In addition to mobile robots, this also extends to stationary robotic solutions, provided that they enable or require direct cooperation of robots and humans, and can generally be considered service robots from a technical perspective. Planned topics include the following:
Present your service robot in its work environment and benefit from the impressive nature of practical demonstrations. The joint Service Robot City pavilion presents different areas of application. Each of these areas is matched with another one and they are presented under a separate roof. For example, large graphics can transform the individual segments into a hospital room, a retail outlet, or a production hall – with generous exhibition space, of course. Another plan in the pipeline: our Robot Restaurant.
All prices quoted are net excluding statutory value added tax.
It just takes a few clicks to complete your registration and package booking.
