Lecture Description

When robots learn by observing humans, it is usually not enough to just track the human's motion, but further information about the human's interaction with the environment must be determined. The demo shows how a manipulator can successfully determine dynamic parameters of objects by interacting with them. Mass, center of gravity and inertia of the object are of great importance for a successful execution of the task to be learned.
