Aerial Robotics has made enormous advances in the last years. We will present latest results of an unconventional aerial robotic systems leveraging compliant elements in the mechanical design to perform novel hybrid ground-aerial locomotion and manipulation tasks. Beyond that we will present a student drone racing initiative for a novel class of large unmanned aerial systems.
