From the idea to implementation: At automatica Makeathon 2020, about 250 international young talents from the fields of software engineering, mechatronics and mechanical engineering develop software and hardware prototypes for applications in robotics, Internet of Things and automation in just 30 hours. A contest for exciting new solution approaches – and an ideal recruitment environment for you.
Our remedy for lack of specialists: Supporting young talent. A perfect example: the automatica Makeathon – a collaborative competition that requires innovative thinking, the ability to work in a team and a structured workflow. The competing trainees and students will need these skills in their professional lives – and can use this opportunity to prove that they have them. Each project is realized under real-life conditions and is a time lapse of an industrial project implementation.
The automatica Makeathon is a great opportunity for technophile young talents to use their theoretical knowledge for developing workable software and hardware prototypes. And for participating exhibitors, this successful event is an ideal employer branding tool. Here, they can raise awareness for their companies in an extremely targeted manner, observe skill demonstrations of potential employees, and have plenty of concrete recruitment discussions.
The automatica Makeathon 2020 will take place on Tuesday/Wednesday, June 16/17, 2020 in Halle B4 – again in cooperation with ITQ GmbH. The independent engineering and consulting company with a focus on automation, mechanical engineering and plant construction develops training concepts that point the way to the future. ITQ organizes the annual “Smart Green Island Makeathon”, Europe’s largest makeathon, on Grand Canary. In addition, the automatica Makeathon is supported by VDMA Robotics + Automation.
Use the automatica Makeathon to your advantage and take a significant step towards safeguarding the future of your company. We have developed three different sponsoring packages for maximum target group-specific visibility and resonance.
This neologism derived from “make” and “marathon” designates a collaborative software and hardware development competition within a predetermined timeframe.
