Prof. Dr. Edward G. Krubasik

Prof. Krubasik holds a PhD in nuclear physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. He has served for ten years on the Siemens Executive Board responsible for the Industry and Mobility Businesses and Central Technology, often in charge of mergers and turn-arounds. Earlier, he was Director at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he has been leading the European Sector for Electronics and Aerospace and the Global Innovation and Technology Practice. He has served in many supervisory board positions in Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, France, USA and Japan. He has been elected as president of industry and science associations, i.e. President of ZVEI/Frankfurt, of Orgalime/Brussels and of DPG/Berlin. He has been teaching at Technical University of Munich and at TUM Asia/Singapore for many years, also at INSEAD/Fontainebleau in MBA and International Directors’ Programs, at Fudan at Tongji University/Shanghai. He is supporting the TUM Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence as Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board and he is part of the Executive Board of the Economic Council for Bavaria. He is mentor for European AI start-up ventures with Creative Destruction Laboratory/Oxford.
